Stitches N Bows Review

I was recently given the chance to review a product from the Etsy store Stitches N Bows. Most items in this store are stitched and/or made by hand. These items are custom made according to the purchasers specifications. There are over two hundred items offered and if you don't see what you were looking for you can send a custom order request. This store offers infant, toddler, and child outfits for both sexes, pillowcases, totes, kitchen, and gift items. And don't get me started on the Disney section of this shop, it's amazing!!!! I was lucky enough to receive, a stitched by hand, Mickey Mouse "My 1st Visit" shirt, for Chase.

I asked for a 4T in blue, even though Chase is in 3T, because the seller told me the shirts run a size small. The shirt that arrived was incredibly soft and fit my little man perfectly! I asked for this shirt to review because in November my husband and I are taking Chase to Disneyland for the first time! So of course he needs his very own My 1st Visit shirt!

While I didn't get photos of mr. wiggleworm in the shirt, I did take photos of the shirt, and I also "borrowed" photos, from the Etsy store, so readers can see how the top looks in various colors, and also how the girl version looks.

The sizes for the shirt are: (Width X Length)
6mo-8 3/4" x 11 1/2"
12mo-9 1/4" x 12"
18mo-11" x 13"
2T-12" x 13 1/2"
3T-13" x 14"
4T-14" x 15 1/2"
XS(2/4)-14" x 18"
S(6/8)-16" x 19"
M(10/12)-17" x 20 1/2"
L(14/16)-18" x 23"
XL(18/20)-19" x 26"

This top sells for $28.95 on the site, which is very reasonable considering how much time and effort is put into making the shirt, and USA shipping is $4.50, Canada shipping is $5.50. Most shop items range from $20 and up, it really depends on what you are interested in. When a item is handmade and incapable of being found in stores, I find it's personal and price value are both worth quite a bit more.

Listia

When I first joined Listia.com I was so excited. It's like a huge garage sale of new and used items, most are free with free shipping, some shipping is charge. But than I won a auction and was sent very cheap quality items and when I messaged the woman she was extremely rude and unkind to me. She refused to refund me, she refused to cover the cost of me shipping it back, she kept sending me nasty messages. So I sent Listia a message and now have to wait a week for this "dispute" to get settled. I thought maybe it was just one bad seller but than another seller had this adorable pair of Blue Clues Pajamas in my sons size that I wanted to bid on but first I wanted to know the condition they were in. So I asked the seller if the pajamas had any marks or wash wear. She immediately attacks and says that she wouldn't post it if it wasn't in good condition and she has never heard of wash wear. She than blocks me so I can't respond back or bid on the item. After two rude sellers in a row, I am leery to do tasks to earn any more credits and very concerned about auctions that I have bid on that end soon because now I'm worried that I'll have nothing but more bad experiences. It should be noted that both sellers that were just plain mean had high feedback ratings and were rated top sellers. It saddens me that there are such ice queens in this world.

Noxicare Review

Noxicare is a excellent all natural pain relieving cream that is effective in aiding to relieve minor to deep muscular, nerve, and joint pain. Noxicare is odorless, long lasting, extremely fast acting, and has a non-greasy lotion-like texture. Noxicare is made from the following all natural ingredients: Willow bark, Tumeric, Ginger, Holy Basil, Rosemary Extract, Boswella Extract, and Alpha Lipoic Acids. I researched each ingredient and found that none have harmful effects and all of these ingredients are good for your body.

My mom recently had shoulder surgery and it did not heal correctly, so she is in constant pain. She has tried a wide variety of retail pain relieving brands with little to no results, unless applied hourly. I offered her Noxicare to try, in exchange for her feedback on if it consistently relieved her pain. While it did not entirely take away her pain, it did sufficiently aid in helping relieve her pain for an extended period of time. The 1.5 oz bottle that was provided also lasted for a great deal of time and it was found that very little cream needs to be applied before Noxicare begins to take effect. The only thing she wishes is that Noxicare was sold in stores and not just online. She does like that Noxicare is offered for the low price of just under twenty dollars online. My mother also loved how Noxicare quickly absorbs into her skin, doesn't leave behind a greasy residue, and doesn't give off any odor. After applying Noxicare, my mom was able to perform simple household tasks that she previously was in to much pain to complete. She said if there was a point system she'd definitely be giving Noxicare a perfect score.

As can be read in the above picture, Noxicare is strictly a topical only product, it shouldn't be used by pregnant, nursing, or people under 18 years of age without the consent of their primary physician. It is also strongly advised not to apply Noxicare to open wounds or sores.

Noxicare is available for purchase on Amazon.com and also on Noxicare.com. Order today! You won't regret it! And you'll love the instant results!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Createphotocards4u Review

Why shop in a store when you can save money by shopping online? Picture this, your son's first birthday is in three months and you want to throw him the most wonderful party that everyone will look back fondly on, but you're on a tight budget, look no further than Createphotocards4u Etsy shop for all your party needs!

I received a invitation, Disney of course, as a sample of this shops work. I blacked out personal information that does not need to be released to anyone who is not already invited to Chase's party. I love how everything coordinates! Chase's outfit, the background, the text, the Mickey. It's just so cute! I will definitely be shopping here for future birthday and baby shower invites. I love how I can personalize it and add a photo of Chase, it gets emailed to me, than I just print however many copies I desire, and I can save it to my computer. I printed my invites on photo paper because I like the glossy look. If Chase's photo wasn't featured on the invite, I would've printed these invites on cardstock paper.

This shop offers printable invitations, that can be printed an unlimited amount of times, for a low $15.00! These are both baby shower and birthday invites!!! Water Bottle Labels for only $10.00! Cupcake Toppers for only $5.00! Nursery Art for $7.00! Best of all, it's all printable, personalized, customized, and yours to keep and print as many times as you want forever! Anytime Costumes Review

Look! Up there in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Super Mommy!!!!!

Ok, really the costume is labeled as Supergirl but I think Super Mommy is much much better.

This year for Halloween, when you're on the hunt for the latest, greatest, most unique costume, look no further than Anytime Costumes! Buy costumes for the whole family and if it doesn't fit send it back and get the right size free!!!! They have a vast variety of costumes for infants, toddlers, children, teens, adults, and plus sized adults. All costumes are available in both boys and girls, as well as men's and women's gender based costumes. Shipping is cheap and the costumes are reasonably priced. Want to be Sandy from Grease for Halloween 2012? They have that! Want your husband to be Johnny from Grease for Halloween 2012? They have that too!!! Look for this and more in the adult section at AnytimeCostumes.com

I chose to review  the Supergirl T-shirt with Cape Costume for Women. My measurements are 38 bust, 32 waist, and 38 hips. So I ordered a x-large, knowing costumes run small. I normally wear a juniors x-large and this fit very closer to a juniors than a women's. Although, I could've easily fit in a large, these shirts are very stretchy, and barely shrink when washed. I had room in it, it was neither too loose or too snug. It fit great length wise, which is rare, I'm almost 5'9".  The material was soft and stretchy, making it comfortable to wear and easy to take on and off.  The top was neither too thin or too thick, it was thin enough to see my curves but thick enough to not be able to see my bra lines or through my shirt. The cape is attached by velcro and can be kept on or detached.

The best part? It's work appropriate!!!! Past jobs that I have had always gave the option to dress up for Halloween but it had to be following dress code guidelines, this meets those guidelines!!! And I love that I can wear the shirt by itself on days other than Halloween. I just wish I was shaped like the womans figure on the shirt!  Needless to say I love this shirt, I plan on being "Super Mommy" for Halloween, Chase is going to be "Batman", and my husband is going to be "Iron Man". It's going to be the year of the superheroes! I can't wait! Check out Anytime Costumes today! And follow them on Twitter: http://twitter.com/anytimecostumes

Krickys Kreations Review

The most treasured items in our homes, that we own, are rarely the most expensive. They are the things that have been passed down for several generations and hold tremendous meaning and value to us. A handmade quilt tells a story stitch by stitch. It is never just a quilt, when it is handmade, especially when it is made with items that tell stories and contain hundreds of memories. Although, some people can not quilt, crochet, or knit and have nobody to rely on to do so for them. I am one of those people.

Krickys Kreations Etsy shop is a blessing in disguise. This shop is run by Karen Miller and Kristen Ross . They are a mom and daughter team. Karen creates beautiful personalized quilts and crochets, while Kristen helps make some of the quilts and creates granny square afghans. Granny square afghans are not listed but if a email is sent requesting one, it can be made for the purchaser. These are incredible items that are priceless in value and are painstakingly crafted and made by hand.

The quilt featured in the two photos is what is called a Made To Order Baby Girls Clothes Quilt. As you can see, by the photo of the back of the quilt, there are no crazy haphazard stitch lines or loose strings or flaws. This is the equivalent to a store bought quilt. These quilts range from $25 to $150. Each quilt is customized to your liking and preferences. The buyer sends the clothes they wish to be sewn into the quilt and the seller makes the quilt, with these clothes, and the colors the buyer chose, by hand. Each quilt has satin edging around the while blanket. This satin edging can be whatever color you desire. The quilt size can also be discussed and the price decided upon then. The quilt includes batting and can be either soft fleece or some incredibly soft bumpy material. You will not find a product like this is stores! This is something that either a relative makes, you make, or you find someone to make. This would make a great gift for any event or a memorial item or a item to keep as a keepsake. Check them out today at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/krickyskreations

Bare Bottom Gifts Review

One of the newest "in style" things to do for parties and special events is to create everything yourself from scratch and make it look at artsy and crafty as possible. Luckily, I found a store on Etsy that will do all that for me! The store is called Bare Bottom Gifts by Dawn and she does diaper cakes, bassinet cakes, mini diaper cakes, diaper cupcakes, washcloth lollipops, and much much more! If you need a customized or personalized order then just send her a message and she will try her best to meet your needs. She's very good at responding in a friendly and timely manner.

The first item that I received is the Diaper Cake Mini (7 diapers, 1 wood cutout, coordinating ribbon and shredded paper). This sells for $6.50 on Bare Bottom Gifts. I received the boy themed Diaper Cake Mini, jungle animals themed. I plan on gifting it to a friend when I attend her baby shower this weekend. It would be great as a gift or as a decoration. And it's much cuter then receiving just a boring package of diapers. I love frilling things up!

The next item that I received is the  Washcloth lollipop (2 infant washcloths and 1 infant spoon). This sells for $1.75. I just think this is so original and genius. It's two washcloth's rolled up and a infant spoon attached by a ribbon in the back. These would be such a great and unique gift to give as a baby shower present.

The next item that I received is the Washcloth Swiss Roll (2 infant washcloths, decorated with coordinating ribbon and wrapped in tulle. This sells for $ 1.50. I think this looks just like a large piece of saltwater taffy candy. I love how simple yet affordable this piece is. I would make it at home but I actually think it's cheaper to buy and then you know it's going to look perfect!

Last I received  a Washcloth Cupcake (1 infant washcloth, 1 diaper (size 1), placed in a cupcake holder, decorated with ribbon and a pom-pom. This sells for $2.25. As you can see these items are priced well below what they are worth. They are expertly crafted and beyond adorable. Everything is securely made and isn't about to fall apart or come undone. You can have the baby shower of your dreams! Just click here and check out Bare Bottom Gifts shop at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Barebottomgifts

Chase had to go to the ER

My son Chase was sitting playing with his baby toys and fell forward onto tile (we have no carpet) and when I went to pick him up his mouth was all bloody. I freaked. My husband is away at work until Sunday, so I called my mom to go with me to the ER. We had to go to ER because it was after Chase's doctor's hours. After a hour wait, that consisted of me holding the boo boo bear ice pack to Chase's mouth, we were finally admitted. Luckily, he just has a bunch of abrasions and no lacerations. The doctor said to just keep giving Chase ice and Tylenol, that he should heal quickly. Chase now has his first fat lip, it looks like he got into a fight. I'm just glad he didn't need stitches and that there is no permanent damage.

Fancy That Creation Review

Although I have a son, I adore receiving girl products to review and give to my nieces. I have a two month old niece and a two year old niece. I received, from this very glamorous Etsy shop called Fancy That Creation, a Pink and Black double layered tutu, a stretchy pink headband, a bow clip to attach to headband, a black flower with a rhinestone in the center clip to attach to the headband, and a Mickey Mouse wipes holder. I planned on taking all but the wipes holder to my nieces yesterday but sadly they both have terrible colds. Thank goodness for keepsake boxes! I took out one of my childhood dolls and dressed her in the tutu and headband. I still plan on gifting all the items but the wipes holder to my nieces once they feel well.

As you can view in the above photo, Isabella is wearing a double layered bubblegum pink and black tutu with a wildly cute pink cheetah ribbon. The tutu adjusts in the front, just untie the cheetah bow, place around child's waist, and retie cheetah bow. I love how frilly, gauzy and fairytale princess like it is. The tutu's are priced starting at $15 and going up to $25. Shipping for all items ranges from $2 to $4.

The pink headband on Isabella's head is a stretchy elastic headband that hair clip accessories can easily be attached to, to add glitz and glam. In this photo, the black flower with the sparkly white rhinestone is attached to the band. I love how soft the band itself is and how wide it stretches.

Seen in the photo above is Isabella wearing the pink stretchy elastic headband again but this time she has the floral bow clip attached. I just love girly girl accessories!

Last but not least is the Mickey Mouse wipes holder. I love Mickey. My son has a Mickey nursery and has Disney everything. I was extremely pleased to receive a Disney item that is not only adorable but a much needed item to be found in any diaper bag. Wipes Cases make it much easier to find wipes when frantically trying to search for wipes through a diaper bag and watch your child at the same time. This case is very well made and could easily be found in a retail store for twice the price or more. The material is soft and vibrantly colored. The case easily opens and shuts without a struggle. Wipes Cases are available at Fancy That Creation for $10 with $2 shipping.

If a pattern or design is desired but cannot be found on Fancy That Creation site. I'm sure you could send her a request and she'll try her best to fulfill your needs. Please check out Fancy That Creation today at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Fancythatcreation

Katherine Paige Design Review

The best part of my week is getting product review items in the mail, I'm like a little kid on Christmas day, what could it be! This week I received the most adorable cupcake wrappers in the mail! The newest fad for parties is to bake cupcakes and then place them (after baking) in cupcake wrappers, that can either be homemade or store bought or of course Etsy bought. As everyone knows, I am a huge Disney fan, so imagine how happy I was when a few of the wrappers were Mickey Mouse themed!!!

I checked everywhere for Mickey wrappers for Chase's party. I practically clapped my hands in glee. Katherine Paige Design was kind enough to send me a wide variety of cupcake wrappers. I didn't get a chance to use them but I plan on using them in October for my 25th birthday and for Chase's birthday in January.

Katherine Paige Design offers a wide variety of cupcake wrappers, as well as cupcake toppers, paper cakes, various event invitations, and supplies/paper.

Cupcake wrappers are available anywhere from $3.00 to $16.50. These wrappers are self closing and do not require a sealant. They are made on thick custom designed paper. These wrappers will fit any standard size cupcake. You do not place the wrapper over the top of the cupcake, you place the cupcake in the wrapper, not the wrapper over the cupcake. These are very simple to use, just place the cupcake in the wrapper, and serve to guests!

Katherine Paige Design can change the colors of most of the custom print wrappers to compliment a customer's event and even custom design additional items- they recently did a 1st year photo banner and an "I am 1" banner to match the cupcake invitations. They will also look for paper to match your theme, so if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask. The other items offered vary in price according to the item desired and custom orders are accepted. Please check them out today at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/KatherinePaigeDesign

Excelerol Review

Excelerol is a dietary supplement that boosts brain activity by increasing concentrating and alertness. I received a 30 capsule box and it suggests taking 1 to 2 capsules a day. First of all, I love that these pills are animal product free, wheat free, egg free, gelatin free, and dairy free. I don't consume animal products and I'm also lactose intolerant, so I always have to read all product labels very carefully. I tried this product by taking one pill a day in the morning with a meal and a glass of water for two weeks. I found that as long as I ate and drank water with the pill I was fine but if I didn't I constantly had to use the restroom or I felt shaky. I am a full time stay at home mom who has adult ADHD, needless to say I was very hopeful to see results! The first day I felt like I drank a very potent energy drink, I had to remain busy constantly because I had all kinds of energy and my mind was racing a mile a minute.

The next day, I sat down to write out Chase's schedule for my friend who would be watching him during my morning gym session, and for once my thoughts were on task, focused, and clear. It was awesome! Normally, I carry post it notes with me throughout the day because I have horrible memory and will sometimes even zone out and forget where I am. I was able to remember everything all day without making one single note! I had better memory, better focus, and lots of energy to get daily tasks done without running out of steam. I considered that this could be me wanting the product to do as the package says until this kept on occurring for the entire two weeks I took it. While it is expensive, a 30 capsule box is available on Amazon or Excelerol's website for $49.99, I definitely would say it is worth it if you can't seem to focus, keep your thoughts organized, and have trouble remembering various things.

I've taken nutrition classes because they are a requirement for my nursing program and I am pleased to say that I recognized over half of the ingredients without cheating and checking my book or Google. It's always a good feeling when you aren't struggling to pronounce a products ingredients and have to constantly check online to see if it's a okay ingredient or not. The pills themselves are medium sized, easy to swallow, and liquid vcaps (similar to gel caps). They also leave no nasty aftertaste or residue. If they were to fall, they would be very easy to find because they are lime green and navy blue colored.

Although Excelerol has PS from Soy there are no Soy Proteins, which is typically what those with soy allergies are specifically allergic to, so it's safe to use for those worried because they are allergic to soy. You should definitely speak with a doctor before taking this pill if you are pregnant or nursing or have serious health conditions. This product is not available in stores and can only be purchased at http://www.excelerol.
com  and at http://www.amazon.com. This is a product meant for adults and should not be given or left within reach of children or babies. I hope you will try this product and let me know if your results were as great as mine!
