Today my husband and I took Chase to Sacramento Zoo. This was Chase's 2nd zoo trip. The first time we took him he was three months and slept most of the zoo visit while I took countless photos. This zoo trip though Chase helped daddy feed the giraffes, he babbled to the monkeys, giggled at the tiger, and rode the carousel with mommy for the first time. I took many photos and apologize for not blogging or doing any reviews. Tomorrow we are taking Chase on his first trip to Sacramento River, for a picnic by the river. I plan on writing a few reviews and being more active once again on Wednesday and Thursday. I'm trying to spend a significant amount of time with my husband and son before my college semester begins again August 25th, while also meeting blog product review deadlines. Thank you for being loyal readers and so kind hearted.
I am a full time stay at home mom to one little boy and one baby girl. I own two dogs and two cats. I love to scrapbook, garden, read, write, watch movies, and have friends over for weekly get togethers. I am becoming an active blogger and wish to become an avid product reviewer. I love being the first to try products and to tell others all about the newest product, as well as write a blog post all about the product and why people should try it.

Grammys Snugglys Review
Grammys Snugglys is a adorable Etsy shop that carries handmade washcloths, bibs, burp cloths, and made to order baby or toddler crib size 40"x60" flannel quilts/blankets. I received a Mickey Mouse washcloth to review and I have nothing but positive things to say about it! The material is medium thickness, incredibly soft, durable, just the right size, and has flawless stitching. When I opened the package, Chase immediately took the cloth from me and begin babbling and playing with it.
Chase decided the washcloth looks just like the little baby blankie he sleeps with and when I tried to take it from him he began to cry. I think it's because the material is extremely soft and has Mickey on it. He's used to the rough store bought washcloths. So the washcloth became a mini blankie, currently he's decided to sleep with it in his crib. Tonight I will be giving him his bath using the washcloth to teach him that this is not a security blanket, as he assumes. I love that this is soft on babies skin and won't chaf or hurt his sensitive baby body.
I will not be posting bath pictures because I am uncomfortable with posting photos of my child unclothed. Chase's bath went well, he's teething, so he spent half of his bath chewing and sucking on the wash cloth and half of his bath being washed with it. I've decided this will be his official bathing wash cloth because I prefer this material over the store bought material. The wash cloth absorbs water very well and is effective removing impurities from Chase's body.
The purchaser can request a custom order if the material or print is unavailable in what they prefer. The wash cloth may be purchased alone, in boy or girl print, or as a set that includes a wash cloth, burp cloth, and bib in a set for $17.97.
My son loves this wash cloth and enjoys it as a small personal blanket, as well as a wash cloth. He has yet to let it out of his sight since we received it in the mail yesterday. If you haven't checked out Tanya's shop at this point, go now! You won't be disappointed!

Worst migraine ever
I woke up this morning with the worst migraine and it still hasn't gone away! I planned on writing at least three product reviews today but I now must postpone these reviews. I get migraines that are so horrible that I have a prescription for Ibuprofen 800mg. Sadly my prescription had no effect today, nor did trying to sleep, nor a hot shower, nor having my parents take Chase for the day. I just want no light, no sound, and a cold ice pack on my eyes. I apologize to my followers and those waiting anxiously for me to write reviews for them. I promise to have them done by the end of next week hopefully. Thank you for understanding.

Looking to Adopt A Second Dog
My husband and I have decided that we would like to adopt a second dog. This dog has to be okay with babies and small children, small dogs, and very friendly. I'm leaning towards getting a Boxer but I would love to hear anyone's recommendations! We want a medium to large breed, short hair, well tempered, medium energy dog that does great with babies, small children, and small dogs. We plan on taking this dog to obedience classes and wish to adopt a puppy. Any advice or input would be fantastic. And if anyone knows any Sacramento or SF Bay Area breeders that come highly recommended please let me know as well!!! Thank you.
Print Sparkle Review
Chase's 1st birthday is quickly approaching and with it comes the hunt for the perfect birthday invitations to send to one and all. I quickly realized, while shopping at a local Target, that I could save a lot of time and money by purchasing printable invitations rather then store bought invitations. The thought of filling out fifty invites by hand filled me with nothing but dread. So I went online and quickly discovered a fantastic Etsy shop named Print Sparkle (http://www.etsy.com/shop/PrintSparkle). The owner of the shop was kind enough to provide me with customized samples of their work and I quickly fell in love.
There were many prints, characters, and designs to choose from on their shop. If I didn't find what I was looking for I could send Print Sparkle (http://www.etsy.com/shop/PrintSparkle) a request for a custom order. I was immediately sold when I saw these invites could be purchased for the low price of $5.00 if no photo is included and $8.00 if a photo is included. I could literally print out as many invites as I would like for $5-$8 and on whatever type of paper I like. The invite is sent as a JPEG image to the purchasers email address and, once downloaded or viewed, it can be printed and saved an unlimited amount of times. Everything on Print Sparkle's Etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/PrintSparkle) is fully customizable and can be personalied to the purchaser's liking and specifications.
I cannot put into words how much I love and highly recommend checking out Print Sparkle's shop on Etsy! (http://www.etsy.com/shop/PrintSparkle)

Hubby bought a PS3
My husband decided to buy himself a PS3 and now he is always playing games on it. The games are very costly though. He bought Skyrim for $50 and Fallout for $40 from GameStop. He'd like to buy more games to play but currently between our five year old Fox Terrier dog Arriana, our seven month old son Chase, bills, and groceries we just cannot afford it. I've been checking online websites for cheap PS3 games but I believe the system is too new for popular games to be offered for less than $40.
Chase got a tooth!
Today Chase's first tooth came through on the bottom and he is officially seven months old today. I tried to get a picture but he refused to open his mouth. He has at least six more teeth due to come through anytime now. We've been using cold washcloths for Chase to suck on and Orajel Natural Gel. This seems to be working but when he is in pain he refuses to eat or drink. It's very frustrating.
Bows By Brenda Review
Yesterday, I received the most magnificent of surprises in the mail, two Mickey Mouse burp cloths and one Mickey Mouse wipes case to review from the lovely Etsy seller Brenda Webb (http://www.etsy.com/shop/rbwebb02).
My husband, infant son Chase, and I are huge Disney fanatics! We cannot get enough Disney stuff. Chase's nursery is Disney themed and our dog Arriana has many Disney doggy outfits and toys. So you can only imagine how I delighted I was to receive Disney stuff. Chase "helped" open the package and immediately started babbling and trying to grab the nicely wrapped products.
I love that it arrived wrapped like a gift with a bow and everything! I also love the craftsmanship of the case and the burp cloths. They didn't look handmade, they looked like products I would find at Disneyland or the Disney Store. There were no loose ends or glue lines or any errors that I could find. I also like that the burpies are a thicker material, which is nice for when my son decides breakfast looks better on a burpy then in his mouth. Normally, I go through many burp cloths a day because my son has allergies to milk and soy, and is still getting used to baby food. But these two burp cloths lasted me the entire day yesterday! I even had the chance to let Chase play with one of them. I'm so pleased.
The wipes case fit almost an entire package of a travel size package of wipes. Which comes in handy for day trips. I love the bright red color because it saves me time fishing in the diaper bag for the wipes case when Chase is in desperate need of a diaper change. I also love how durable the material is, Chase was banging the case against a table and the case had no dents, scratches, or chips. These products are definitely coming with us in November when we take Chase to Disneyland for the first time!
It's amazing how creative and crafty Brenda is. The great thing is how vast the variety of products her shop offers is. She sells all kinds of different burp cloths, wipe cases, bows, hair ties, bow boards and holders, korkers and puffs, headbands, hats, flowers, key fobs, dresses, tutus, and pony o's. There are many products available for both genders of infants and toddlers. If a customer does not find a design or print that they desire, they can send Brenda a request for a custom item. Every customer order comes with a surprise free bonus gift. Brenda's shop features almost 400 items at very reasonable prices! I can't wait to have a little girl so I can buy her little tutus and hair bows from Brenda's shop but in the meantime I plan in the future to purchase Chase more burp cloths. I highly suggest you check out Brenda's Etsy shop!

Love Etsy!!!
I am officially in love with Etsy shops and the sellers who own the shops. They are such kind people and are so willing to help me with my blog by letting me review their products in exchange for a blog review. I hope my reviews of their shops gain them many new customers. I'm so amazed at how talented these sellers are at creating products that would easily sell in big name stores for twice the amount they are sold for on Etsy. I look forward to writing the reviews for these wonderful people.I truly cannot thank them enough for their help and for having faith in a newbie blogger such as myself.
Chase and I thank you all very much for your support!!!!

Pink Sky Printables Review
I was recently given the wonderful chance to review Pink Sky Printables Baby Mickey Mouse 1st Birthday Invitations. These invitations can be found at: http://www.pinkskyprintables.com/ and also at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PinkSkyPrintables. I love these invites! In stores, I could only find one type of baby Mickey 1st birthday invitations and I'd have to write out all the event details but with these all I have to do is click, purchase, and print out as many of the JPEG file invites as I desire. For $12.00 I can customize the colors of the invites, the graphics, and the fonts, plus I can add any photo of my child to be featured on the invitation. The invite is created just as I want it, completely customized to my liking. The invitations are top of the line graphic quality and can be emailed or mailed to your guests. I love that I can print these on any type of paper, in any size, and as many times as I want. It saves so much time and money doing so. The great thing is, is that there are countless character and theme options for boy and girl invitations for weddings, birth announcements, birthdays, and baby showers. In stores, eight baby mickey invites are $4-$6 and all event details must be handwritten. I highly recommend saving your hand, time, and money by purchasing these printable invites!!!

Smartbones For Dogs Review
I was recently given the wonderful opportunity to provide my dog (Arriana) with a sample of SmartBones Chicken and Smartbones Dental. SmartBones are bones that are healthy, rawhide free, chewy, and full of vitamins and minerals. My dog sustained a injury to the roof of her mouth as a puppy from a rawhide bone and would not go near rawhide again, so I was intrigued to see how she would approach the SmartBones. I placed the Chicken one in front of her first and she cautiously began sniffing it. After a hesitant lick, she promptly carried it off to her dog bed and quickly consumed it.
Needless to say I was delighted that she enjoyed a healthy treat. The next day I gave her the Dental one and she once again sniffed, licked, then carried it off. This was also consumed in a short period of time. After she came into the kitchen and was looking for more. The great thing about these bones are that they are made with real ingredients (real chicken, real veggies) and the site lists all the ingredients in each bone. These bones help to control tartar and clean a dogs teeth. My dog, despite my brushing her teeth daily, gets tartar build up in the back of her mouth, so these bones are a great way to get rid of that build up and keep it under control.
These bones are veterinarian approved and available for purchase on shop.smartbones.com. They start at the low price of $3.99 and come in Peanut Butter, Chicken, and Dental for flavors. They also come in various sizes, the smallest being Mini and the largest being Large. I'm so happy I was given the chance to review these products and I now have a healthy regular treat for my dog.

Product Reviews
I would like to turn this blog into both a personal blog and a product review blog. I would love to begin to receive samples of various products from companies and in exchange write product reviews for these companies. I would love to turn this into a full time blog with daily postings. I am very PR friendly and would love to write a review for any interested parties.

Teething Troubles
My son's first tooth came thru today. It's on the bottom. He has two top teeth and one other bottom tooth about to come thru as well. I've been using Orajel and Advil to soothe his pain but are there any alternatives or more effective remedies? He just turned seven months.
